Delete your data from Adakite Restaurant

1. Ask the restaurant. In person or by phone, ask them to delete your customer details. A manager can delete them straight away in Adakite POS.
2. Or email us at support@adakite.app with the restaurant's name and the phone number you ordered with. We arrange the deletion with the restaurant and reply within 30 days.
3. If you work at a restaurant using Adakite, ask your employer, or email us and we will pass your request to them.

For a customer, deleting your details removes:

• your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and any notes the restaurant kept about you
• the copies of your name, email and address saved on each of your past orders
• your name, phone number, email and notes on any reservation requests

Your order history then shows as "Deleted customer". This cannot be undone.

The kitchen screen, in Adakite Restaurant or the older Adakite Restaurant Kitchen app, shows the items on each order to the kitchen and keeps nothing about you of its own, so the same deletion covers it.

The restaurant's records of each sale (items, prices, payments and the date) are kept without your name or contact details, because Australian tax law requires businesses to keep sales records. They are kept for 5 years.

If you work at a restaurant, your hours, pay and employment records are kept for 7 years after they are made, because employers are legally required to keep them. Your employer decides what happens to your other staff details.

Card numbers are never stored in Adakite Restaurant. Payments are handled by the restaurant's card terminal provider and by Stripe for online orders.

Deleted details are removed from our backups within 30 days.

In your employer's Adakite Crew account:

• your name, and the contact details and employment details your employer entered
• your badge, kept scrambled so the code can't be read from the database
• each time you clock in or out, at which location and on which tablet
• your hourly rate at the time you clocked in, which your employer uses to estimate wage costs

On the kiosk tablet itself: any clock-ins and clock-outs taken while the tablet was offline, until they are sent, and, so it can check badges without internet, the names of the staff at that location with a scrambled copy of each badge. The camera only reads badges. No photos or video are recorded or sent.

1. Ask your employer. They can archive you in Adakite Crew, which takes you off the roster and the kiosk and stops your badge working, and can ask us to delete your details.
2. Or email us at support@adakite.app with your name and your employer's business name. We arrange the deletion with your employer and reply within 30 days.

Your hours and pay records are kept for 7 years after they are made, because employers are legally required to keep them. Your employer decides what happens to your other details.

Unsent clock-ins are removed from the tablet once they are sent. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, removes everything it kept on the tablet. Deleted details are removed from our backups within 30 days.
