This policy covers all Adakite applications: the store tablet app, the administrator dashboard, and the delivery driver app (web and native iOS/Android). It explains what data each app collects, why, and who it's shared with.
Adakite is restaurant point-of-sale, kitchen printing, and delivery-driver software operated by Adakite. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact support@adakite.app.
Store & admin accounts. Login credentials, store staff PINs, and order, menu, and fee records needed to run a store. Created by store owners/managers, not by us.
Customer order data. Name, phone number, and delivery address entered by staff or customers when placing an order, used only to fulfil that order.
Driver location. The driver app collects precise device location, including in the background while a driver is on shift, so the store and customers can see delivery progress and estimated arrival time. Location is only collected while a driver is signed in and has toggled themselves "accepting deliveries" on; it stops as soon as they go off shift or log out. Location is tied to the driver's account, not sold, and not used for advertising.
Staff & employment data. For venues using Adakite's roster and timeclock features, we hold each staff member's name and phone number, their employment basis and start and end dates, their hourly wage, the times they clock in and out, the shifts they are rostered for, and the code behind their timeclock badge. This is entered by the venue that employs them, not by us. We hold it on that venue's behalf so it can run its roster, work out hours, and keep the employment records an employer is required to keep. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Device & usage data. Standard technical data (IP address, device/browser type, crash and diagnostic logs) used to keep the service running and secure.
To operate core features: taking orders, printing them to the kitchen, dispatching and tracking deliveries, and giving store admins visibility into their own store's activity. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use driver or customer location for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
We use a small number of service providers to run the platform, and only share what each one needs to do its job:
A store's own staff and admins can see that store's order, customer, and driver data as part of normal use of the product. We don't share data across unrelated stores.
We keep order, customer, and driver-location data for as long as a store's account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for records and dispute resolution. You can request deletion at any time. See "Your choices" below.
Staff and employment data is treated differently, because employers are legally required to keep employment and pay records for a number of years after someone stops working for them. We keep clock in and out times, wages, rostered shifts, and the record of any change made to them for as long as the venue's account is active and for a period afterward so the venue can meet that obligation. Timesheet records are deliberately hard to erase: removing a staff member does not remove their hours, and correcting a punch keeps the original alongside the correction.
If you've placed an order with a store, you can ask that store, or email us directly, to access, correct, or delete the name, phone number, and delivery address you provided.
Drivers can stop location sharing at any time by going off shift or logging out, and can revoke location permission entirely in their device's system settings.
If you work at a venue that uses Adakite, ask your employer to see or correct your hours, wage, or employment details. They hold those records and can print them for you from their own admin portal. You can also email us at the address below and we will help, though we act on the venue's instructions for their staff records and cannot change or delete them on our own.

Adakite is business software for restaurant staff and delivery drivers. It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
